Warm Cranberry Spiced Rum
Ingredients
- 1 cup cranberry juice (unsweetened or cocktail, your choice)
- 2 oz spiced rum
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2–3 whole cloves
- 1 small strip of orange peel
- Fresh cranberries for garnish
Instructions
- Warm the Base:
In a small saucepan, combine cranberry juice, honey (or maple syrup), cloves, orange peel, and the cinnamon stick.
Heat over low–medium until steaming but not boiling. - Infuse:
Let it gently simmer for 5–7 minutes to build that cozy spiced aroma. - Add the Rum:
Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the spiced rum. - Serve:
Pour into a heat-safe mug. Add a fresh cinnamon stick for garnish and a few cranberries if desired.
