Warm Cranberry Spiced Rum

 

 

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup cranberry juice (unsweetened or cocktail, your choice)
  • 2 oz spiced rum
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2–3 whole cloves 
  • 1 small strip of orange peel
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish 

Instructions

  1. Warm the Base:
    In a small saucepan, combine cranberry juice, honey (or maple syrup), cloves, orange peel, and the cinnamon stick.
    Heat over low–medium until steaming but not boiling.
  2. Infuse:
    Let it gently simmer for 5–7 minutes to build that cozy spiced aroma.
  3. Add the Rum:
    Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the spiced rum.
  4. Serve:
    Pour into a heat-safe mug. Add a fresh cinnamon stick for garnish and a few cranberries if desired.
