Snickerdoodle White Russian

Ingredients

 

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 2 oz heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)
  • 1 oz cinnamon-vanilla simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 1–2 dashes cinnamon
  • Ice
  • Optional: cinnamon-sugar rim
  • Optional: tiny cookie or cinnamon stick garnish

Cinnamon-Vanilla Simple Syrup

(You’ll want this—it’s what makes it Snickerdoodle)

½ cup sugar

½ cup water

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

Bring water + sugar to a simmer, stir until dissolved. Add cinnamon + vanilla. Cool

Instructions

 

  1. Rim (optional):
    Dip glass in a bit of simple syrup, then into cinnamon-sugar.
  2. Fill glass with ice.
  3. Pour in vodka + coffee liqueur.
  4. Add cinnamon-vanilla syrup.
  5. Gently float heavy cream over top (pour it slowly over the back of a spoon).
    This gives it that pretty layered look.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon on top.
  7. Garnish with a mini snickerdoodle cookie or a cinnamon stick.
