Ingredients:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 (10 oz) bag marshmallows (or ~4 cups mini marshmallows)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp dark or spiced rum (or more for stronger flavor)
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in rum and vanilla. Tip: Let it cool for about 30 seconds before adding rum to avoid too much alcohol burn-off.
- Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
- Let cool and set (about 30 minutes), then cut into squares.
- Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate or mix a little rum with powdered sugar for a boozy glaze.
