🍫 Rachel vs. German Chocolate Cake: International Edition

Let’s set the scene: I walked into the break room thinking it was just a normal Tuesday… and walked out 7 slices deep into German chocolate chaos, emotionally bonded to frosting, and possibly banned from HR’s fridge. 🎂😇

In honor of International German Chocolate Cake Day, I selflessly (and heroically) sampled 20 variations of this decadent masterpiece. Yes, twenty. Yes, willingly. Yes, with wine.

Here’s What Went Down:

Slice #1: Warm. Healing. Might’ve solved my trust issues.
Slice #7: Emotional breakdown. I cried. It blinked.
Slice #12: Paired it with Zinfandel and saw the face of God.
Slice #20: I transcended. I also took the rest home in Tupperware.

Meanwhile, Carrie pretended this was “team building,” Sam started a side hustle rating frosting textures, and my ex still hasn’t texted back. (Maybe because I tagged him in my story yelling about “emotional toddlers and chocolate custody.”) 🍷💅
